The Hindi movie 'Dum Laga Ke Haisha' is based on a true story of an Indian couple, played by real-life husband and wife Gulshan Devaiah and Vidya Balan. The film follows the journey of married couple, Anu (Balan) and Bhavesh (Devaiah), who are expecting their first baby. However, tragedy strikes on the day of their wedding, when Bhavesh unexpectedly dies after collapsing at his own wedding reception. With her husband gone before she'd ever had the chance to say 'I do', Anu must put her life back together while raising their one year old daughter. The first Hindi movie to be shot entirely on location in Kashmir, 'Dum Laga Ke Haisha' is a heart-warming true story, beautifully portrayed by Gulshan Devaiah and Vidya Balan. Koimoi rated this movie 2/5 and said, "Dum Laga Ke Haisha is one such film that tries to show a woman’s determination despite all odds but doesn’t manage to create any impact". In the end, Dum Laga Ke Haisha managed to earn around 60 crores in two weeks at the box office.The film received mixed reviews from critics.
